I can see how they are useful, but unfortunately they transfer vibration from your helmet straight into the earplugs when used

I’ve been using Alpine ear plugs and while the plugs themselves work well, the cord attachment is a weak point. The clips don’t hold securely, so when you pull the cord to remove the plugs, the cord detaches and the plug stays stuck in your ear.
A better design would be a rubber cord with a loop that fits snugly into the middle of the plug. That way, if the plug gets stuck, you can pull the cord and the plug pops out easily. It’s a small change that could make a big difference in usability and comfort.

If you attach it to your ear plugs the ear plug insertion tool then no longer works so this is £2+ for an entirely useless piece of flimsy string. Come off it Alpine, are you just having a laugh with this?
