24H Le Mans® racing events

The 24H of Le Mans® is the ultimate test for both the cars and drivers that participate. Are you planning to attend 24H Le Mans® racing events in 2025? Below are the 24H Le Mans® race dates and information! In addition, we explain why it is important for spectators to wear hearing protection at 24H Le Mans® racing events and which products are best suited for this purpose.

24H Le Mans® racing events in 2025

The 24 Hours of Le Mans® was first held in 1923. This makes it the longest running as well as one of the most prestigious races in the world. The race takes place at the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France. The circuit has been extensively modified over the years and is now more than 13 kilometres long. Most races require participants to cover a fixed distance.

Not so in the 24H Le Mans® races: here, each team (usually consisting of three drivers) must cover as much distance as possible within 24 hours. So it's not just about speed - the racing teams have to make sure their cars can last 24 hours without mechanical failure.

Most participants cover more than 5,000 kilometres during the race. The record was set in 2010 with the Audi R15 TDI - the driving trio managed to cover a distance of 5,410.7 kilometres in 397 laps.
